I guess the "black, peppery" side doesn't bother me -- but that "pink" side...  Am I nuts?  Too picky?  WWYD?  Wear that sock so the pink is on the inside of the leg?  ; )

The Packers are playing tonight.  You know where I'll be.  ; )  Go Pack Go!

So hard to tell from the pictures. What you're calling pink looks like glare from a flash. I'd keep it. In my opinion that's the way it's supposed to be. But then again, the differences don't really bother me that much when it comes to socks. Only you're really going to know anyway - unless you're in the habit of pulling up your pant legs to strangers to show off your socks. If that's the case, then put the pink side on the inside and the darker side on the outside. ;-)

it doesn't look bad in the pics, but if you're bothered i'd go with that. is it really worth getting annoyed every time you slip them on your feet?

I like it, but if it bothers you, rip and start from the other end, maybe?

Go Brett Go!

I guess I see what you mean but I think you're being a leetle too picky.

Picky. Picky. Picky.

Go with the flow.

I agree it's not that bad and noone will ever know but you. But I can understand why it bothers you, because when you have this lovely perfect sock vision you want it to turn out that way, perfect.

They look lovely from here!

Have a glass of wine when you wear them... then it won't bother you anymore. :)

They are lovely socks, but I understand your dilemma. I would finish the second sock and think about dying the pair a similar solid color. The stitch pattern is great and a rich purple would certainly bring it out.

In the all of it will it REALLY matter? They look great!

Isn't it weird how things sometimes decide to pool, quite randomly? I guess it is just a teensy difference in the dyejob.
It will help you tell your left from your right! ;-)
You and Judy - tempting me with those dishcloths, except we only get fingering weight pretty cottons here.

I can't see it - but I like the overdyeing suggestion! good luck with moving daughters and home improvements!
