Voila!
This...
It's not sure what it wants to be next, but I can't wait to see! It was a fun experiment, and definitely one I'll play around with again. Soon. Very very soon.

This...
Already-red kettle-dyed yarn left over from a previous project, I tied it and threw it in the pot. Not sure what this will become in the end, either, but I love it.

Most of this...
is now a baby sweater, complete with buttons. It's been given a soak and is now drying on the blocking board! Sewing on buttons is one of those things and I wasn't sure I'd be able to do all seven last night, but I powered through. It's adorable. There's enough leftover yarn that I think I can fashion some matching head- or foot-wear -- haven't decided.

This is my only weekend in June without obligation, so I think I'm going to finish my June dyeing for Project Spectrum and choose a project, and maybe even have that complete by the end of the month! A bike ride, some yard stuff... I'm sure I'll find something to do.
So, what's up for your weekend?
It's so easy to fill a weekend. Hope there is sun and fun included!

So much fun! I've never tried any dyeing, but you're making it look so tempting. Sounds like the perfect kind of weekend -- full of things you enjoy. Hope it's fabulous, Vicki!

Your first yarn looks bacony, now! Who knew?
I love all your other yarn as well. But then, I'm a sucker for red.
I work, kids have things going on (teen's school choir sings at HS graduation -- not hers yet, there may be callback auditions for Nutcracker ballet), there's a party for a friend's HS graduate (grilling involved, nom), and tomorrow night, I hope and believe, a special dinner to celebrate our anniversary a little late (it fell on Memorial Day, which is a hard day to go out to dinner).
Whew! If it cools down, it should be even more fun!

I love the yarns with the little bit of white-- can't wait to see them knit up.
I'm staffing a membership table for the humane society at a community festival tomorrow (only a 1 hour gig), then #2 Son and gf will be here for most of the weekend, yay!
