Mama says, "Baby needs a new sweater!"
Junebug needs a lightweight sweater for spring. Ali thought she might still be able to squeeze him into the Garter Yoke Baby Cardi, but no-can-do! He's a burly dude.
I feel like I'm reaching into the way-back machine for this one: Devan! It's an adorable fingering-weight V-neck cardigan that was originally published in Knitty... way back in Spring 2004! And I've always wanted to make it.
I ordered some of Julia's fabulous self-striping Vesper Sock Yarn in a colorway called Electric Revolution, and I'm pairing it with some of my Make.Do Be Fingering/Sock in a semi-solid called Bookworm... and I just can't wait to get started!!
Hello Spring!!
All wound up and ready to go!
Those colors are perfect for spring and he's going to look smashing in his new sweater!

That is too adorable. If I was a good grandma I'd join you in a Devan-along......hmmm....I love the self striping arms and panel in back!
