Eye Candy Friday
We took a drive out to Calumet County Park at the end of the day on Wednesday. It wasn't the most spectacular sunset in the history of the world, but it was pretty... it's a pretty park.

Sometimes muted, calming, and pretty is perfect, and these lovely photos certainly are.

The trees silhouetted against the soft watercolor sky and mirrored movement of clouds and water look like poetry.

I know this park...I love the way the water and sky meet in this picture. The light on the water almost makes the horizon look like it's in a different place.

Thanks Bonny! A huge hatch of "lake flies" occurred right after we were there -- a big/thick enough cloud of them that they showed up on local radar. So happy we missed them!! ;)
