Gotta get out of this funk
This might help. I bought it at Jill Draper's Open Studio Show last month. It's under consideration for the Project Peace Cowl. I should look around some more, but I sure do love this color!
This sort of thing always helps... while Mum & Dad cleaned out the garage, Jun was "helping."
Hugs are good!
That shade of red is my absolute favorite. Blue, not orange undertone. Like a cherry. Perfect.

That yarn is stunning! Unless you come across something better in your stash, I think that would be a beautiful choice. Hooray for helpers!

Red is a good anti-funk color!

Oh yes, that's gorgeous. Just think how cheery it will be slipping through your fingers and how lovely the finished cowl will be. Can you really top that skein?! I don't think so!

Cute grandkids are the cure for any sort of funk, I'm thinking.

What Carole said! (and I love the yarn - have heard wonderful things about Jill's yarns, but have yet to see any IRL)

That red is spectacular! I think it would make a stunning cowl! And, that photo is priceless!

Cute kids sitting together in hand knits....couldn't be a better picture! Too cute. I LOVE that color. What a great color to wrap around your neck.

Oh, Vicki! Those sweet kiddos just warm my heart. And so does that GORGEOUS yarn. (I am in a funk myself, and I need to dig my way out. . . )

Great picture of those beautiful grandbabies! My grandchildren live a 4 hr drive (or train ride away) so I don't see them as often as I would like, but I did have a nice 3 day visit last week. I'm working on some hand-knit s for them for Christmas, but I'm hoping to join the Project Peace KAL too. We'll see how that works out!
