FO: Squad II

FO: Mignon

I can't even remember when I started knitting this little sweater. It's been finished -- except for the button -- for a long, long time.

  • Ravelry Project Page: Mignon
  • Pattern: Mignon by Loop London
  • Yarn:
    • Make.Do Dream DK Superwash (I think)
  • Needles:  US 5 (I think)
  • Start to Finish:  March 26, 2015 - March 26, 2017 (that's a guess)

Whatever the yarn, it's incredibly soft and squishy! And I know I was looking for a one-skein project.

Close up, the button isn't a perfect match, but it works from normal viewing distance!! Of course, Gin is great motivation for finishing a project like this -- and a little shrug is nice for spring! There's potential for years of wear with a garment like this.

I promise there will be better photos at a future date, but here are the first that Ali sent me of Gin wearing her Geranium Dress.

It's a perfect fit! I can't wait to make another. Li'l Gingeranium!!

Gingeranium!! LOL Great term for Gin in her geranium dress. and the little shrug is just darling. Love the button on it too.

Gingeranium is perfect, and her sweet shrug with a lovely flower button is adorable. I've admired all of your recent FOs, each one wonderful in its own way!

Robby H.

I love that she appears to be thinking about 'accessorizing' that darling dress. It's kind of hard to go wrong with small objects the clothe wee people isn't it?

Oh, Vicki! How adorable is that little shrug??? And Gin in her dress? I am just dying from the cuteness here!!! Knitting for little ones looks awfully fun. XO

The level of cuteness in this post is off the charts! That dress is too cute on her - or is Gin too cute in the dress! And, yes - that little shrug! I love the button - it makes it!

She looks so cute in that little dress. You got a perfect fit! The dress and her cuteness should be well documented! Cuteness abounds!

Gin is a lucky little girl to have such wonderful handmade clothes!

Gin is growing up so fast - I picture her wearing that little cardi over a prom dress :-) And Gingeranium turned out beautifully. of course I love the contrast pockets. but the best is that she's wearing the dress and moving around in it! (whoa, they grow up fast... aren't we lucky to see it up close).

Sweet! I mean Gin and her dress and sweater. Lucky girl. Lucky Grandma.

That dress and that Gin are absolutely adorable! She is one lucky girl. The shrug and button...perfect!
