NaBloPoMo 2019.13
I'm determined not to complain about the weather this winter... even though it's only mid-November, winter is already here (we leaped right over fall), and there's PLENTY to complain about!
While I'm not sure I can go as far as embracing my inner Norwegian (my DNA says I'm only 3% Swedish, after all), I will try to grin and (silently) bear it... or at least bear it.
This Waterlogue'd photo was taken only three weeks ago (during a gathering to consider options for that darn walnut tree)! And yay!! I've been getting used to my new iPhone, playing with apps and things, and (while slowly catching up with y'all) a recent Watercolor Wednesday post at Carole's reminded me about this app that I've iEnvied for years!

Thanks for all your good thoughts & wishes for my co-worker and friend. I haven't had any news today, but things seem to be moving in the right direction overall. There's a long way to go, with at least a week in ICU and another month in the hospital (hopefully, one closer to home?)...
Your real view right now might be too wintery, but that waterlogue is lovely!

That is a gorgeous waterlogue. Maybe Winter will end early since it seems to be starting early? My maternal grandfather was from Denmark, but honestly I don't think I have much Danish (cold north) blood in me - lol.

I expect the current view is a bit whiter now -- mine certainly is! And if you're not going to complain about the weather, I'll happily do it for you. We hit a record low here this morning of 12F, and that's without wind chill! I certainly hope it's not an omen of things to come.

I'm trying really hard to Not Complain About Winter. Even though it arrived WAY too early. I'm afraid there will be plenty of it for plenty long enough . . . so I reserve the right to change my mind later. (And I'm so glad to hear you're having fun with you iPhone!) XO

oh YAYYAYAYAY!!! Waterlogue!!! it is one of the best iOnly apps :-) I applaud your efforts to only complain in tiny type. It was 20 degrees here this morning and I for sure complained in BOLD CAPS!!

That's a great watercolor and I'm so glad you can use the app now. I will say - and I'm sure you'll find out on your own - that some photos are awesome when waterlogued and others just don't work. It was super cold and windy here today and I'm def not ready!

We had winter the last week of October, but it's been balmy ever since. I hope this high pressure moves your way and we get a little snow! We need snow! Not that I really want snow, but, you know, we NEED snow. Love the picture with the waterlogued app. I have an iPhone, but I really want one like yours!
