Unraveled Wednesday: Bangin' Out a Main Squeeze

I got a new thing.

My new insurance cards came in the mail last week, along with the little booklet of benefits. I don't usually look at those things, but I idly flipped through and it landed on a page with a blurb about getting a FREE FITBIT (one per lifetime).

I've never really felt the need for a Fitbit (at least not to shell out dollars for), but if someone wants to give me one (using some of the many dollars that I've contributed)... well, I'll even shell out a few extra bucks for a better model.

Today's the first day with my new Inspire HR... and, yes, I am feeling a little bit inspired.

Have fun with it! I know they probably aren't all that accurate, but wearing mine is a good reminder to keep moving and be healthy, so it can't be all that bad.

My Fitbit was motivating (at least until it stopped working because I think I sweat on it too much). Enjoy and be inspired!

I never got into the FitBit - and I got a free one from work through our insurance program - but I LOVE my Apple Watch and the way it tracks my movement and exercise. (There's a weird ad on your blog today supporting Trump . . . )

I think there's a lot to be said for the "gameification" of fitness. If a FitBit (or an Apple Watch) (or whatever) gets you to move more, then it's a VERY good thing! (Plus I think your FitBit has a very cool look -- sleek and modern.) (And there wasn't a weird ad supporting Trump when I visited your blog.)

Ooo! How fun! I like new toys, and this one looks so shiny and new! :)

I like mine, although it isn't readily visible. I have a friend that we compete each week for bragging rights on number of steps. We chat back and forth on that function and encourage each other to keep moving. (Shhh, no trump ads here on my watch.)

Juliann

I hot this same Fitbit for Christmas and I love it. I’m not as obsessed as I used to be with my steps but I do like the accountability to move more. Enjoy

Vera

Boy, I haven't gotten my cards yet (and it's February!!). I can't get into the FitBit or Apple Watch thing, but I hope you enjoy yours (no ad for me).

Mary

No secret - I am a HUGE fan of the tracker ... I hope you enjoy yours as much as I've enjoyed mine (I had a couple of fitbits and now an Apple Watch).

That is exactly how I feel about my Apple Watch. Younger Son got it for just a few bucks through his company's health insurance; he already had a similar watch, so he got the ladies' model for me. I like it fine, but it would never have been worth the $$$ it would have cost me.
